The 2-in-1 JAMMA board switcher, used for installing 2 different games in 1 arcade machine.
The 6-in-1 JAMMA board switcher, used for installing up to 6 different games in 1 arcade machine.

A 4-in-1 JAMMA switcher.
A great way to save space AND have multiple arcade machines is the mutli-JAMMA board switcher. The multi-JAMMA boards come in a variety of combinations: 2-in-1, 3-in-1, 4-in-1, or 6-in-1. With one of these special boards, you can have more than one game in an arcade cabinet, as long as the controls on the control panel are compatible for each game. Perhaps even more attractive is the fact that such machines are still legal to operate in a coin-op situation, as long as the boards used are legal for coin-operation.
The first Combo Cabinet being produced by Tybee Games is a dual arcade machine with Golden Tee 2K and World Class Bowling.
Another Golden Tee combo that would make use of the 6-in-1 switcher and the six Golden Tee games that use a JAMMA board would be:

2 - Golden Tee '97
3 - Golden Tee '98
4 - Golden Tee '99
5 - Golden Tee 2K
6 - Golden Tee Classic
These 6 Golden Tee games use the same graphics engine, music and sound effects, but all have a different set of Golf Courses, with some variations in the voice-over sample sets.
Just about any category of game would be good candidates for multi-switchers. The important thing is that the controls used on the control panel be compatible for all the games included in the cabinet.
Pricing for these type machines would depend mainly on the number of game boards used and the type of monitor (CRT or the cheaper LCD). Estimates from low end to high end would be between $800.00 and $1,600.00 (USD).
